• 6.2-liter EcoTec3 V8: 420 horsepower, 460 lb-ft of torque, and up to 13,100 pounds of towing capacity (standard on Denali Ultimate).
• 3.0-liter Duramax® Turbo Diesel: 305 horsepower, 495 lb-ft of torque, and up to 13,300 pounds of towing capacity (standard on AT4 and AT4X).

In addition to these versatile engines, the new GMC Sierra 1500 has available selectable modes that provide optimal traction and stability on multiple surfaces. These modes include Sport, Tour, Terrain, Snow (2WD models only), Tow/Haul, and Off-Road.
